On a commission for The Slow Bread Company, I saw first hand the love and care that can go into baking bread. The bread is mixed and kneaded by hand, from locally-milled flour – and is made to order and baked the morning of the day it is delivered. I managed to shoot the bakers working in the early hours of the morning as they baked loaves, focaccia, muffins, scones and brioche. Delicious.
